meet THe INSTRUCTORS

Vernon Green, Oklahoma-based firearms instructor offering CLEET-certified training for police departments and agencies.

Vernon Green

I’ve been with The Village Police Department as a patrol officer for eleven years, an operator for the Oklahoma County Tactical Unit for nine years and am a CLEET-certified firearms instructor.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to attend numerous firearms and tactics-related classes, including training through FBI-LEEDA, and have trained under and with some of the best in the field. Outside of work, I do some USPSA competitive shooting along with training Jiu-jitsu at The Forge in Edmond.

I started GDS because I saw a need for affordable, high-quality training for Oklahoma law enforcement. This isn’t about making money; it’s about helping officers build the skills they need to handle the serious threats they face.

My curriculum draws on my experience in real-world scenarios and the modern policing environment. I am not here to sell you on some secret technique that will turn you into John Wick—that doesn’t exist. My focus is on building solid fundamentals so they become second nature, letting you focus on tactics in real world scenarios.

I look forward to training together. Take a look at the classes I offer and if you have questions, shoot me an email or reach out through social media.

JOrdan CORN

I started in Law Enforcement in Oklahoma in 2014 and became a CLEET Firearms instructor in 2018, completed my CLEET Defensive Tactics Instructor in 2022, and have been an operator with the Oklahoma County Tactical Unit for 6 years.

I have worked and trained alongside Vernon Green for more than half of my law enforcement career. From going through Firearms Instructor School together to being a part of the SWAT team together we have built upon the passion to teach others and learn from others.

Being able to share those experiences with GDS students and those inside the law enforcement community with the goal of learning and bettering one another is a passion of mine.

Being given the opportunity to work with GDS and explore all the avenues of knowledge transfer that are open through this company and community is something I will be grateful for. I look forward to seeing everyone out on the range!
