RIFLE TRAINING

RIFLE SKILL BUILDER: $75

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Do you not get enough rifle training or is your shooting not quite where you want it to be. This 8-hour, CLEET-accredited class focuses on rifle fundamentals, positional shooting, and recoil control. No matter your skill level, this class is an excellent refresher and a great learning experience. NOTE: If you've never shot a rifle and are looking for a multiple-day rifle school, I highly recommend the one offered by Oklahoma County's Training Division.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

  • Rifle with sling

  • Duty pistol

  • Three spare rifle magazines

  • Holster and method to carry at least one extra magazine

  • 350 rounds of rifle ammo and 25 rounds of pistol ammo

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Clothing that will allow kneeling and movement

ADVANCED RIFLE OPERATOR: $90

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Ready to take the next step with your patrol rifle? This 8-hour, CLEET accredited class zeros in on advanced rifle shooting. We will work on getting into shooting positions quickly and making shots quickly from those positions. We will stress urgency when making shots and follow-up shots. This is a great choice for those looking to level up their rifle skills.

  • Rifle with sling

  • Duty pistol

  • Three spare rifle magazines

  • Holster and method to carry at least one extra magazine

  • 350 rounds of rifle ammo and 50 rounds of pistol ammo

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Clothing that will allow kneeling and movement

LPVO for Patrol: $100

Class Description: This 8-hour, CLEET accredited, course will focus on the deployment of a Low Power Variable Optic by a patrol officer. Students will learn basic knowledge about the design and operation of a LPVO, along with its effectiveness as an optic for patrol use.  Students can expect to hone their marksmanship fundamentals behind a rifle while exploring the benefits of deploying a LPVO on duty.

Required Equipment: 

  • Patrol Rifle - Minimum of .223REM caliber. 

  • 4 Rifle Magazines.

  • 500 rounds of rifle ammunition (NO RELOADS).

  • LPVO capable of 1x Power to a minimum of 4x Power. 

  • Offset RDS (Red Dot) is acceptable for the students 1x Power option.

  • Patrol Vest or Plate Carrier or Chest Rig (Equipment that you normally carry on duty.)

  • Sidearm with holster.

  • 3 Sidearm magazines.

  • 100 rounds of small caliber round for sidearm.

  • Duty Belt or Gun Belt.

  • Eye protection.

  • Ear protection.

  • Hat.

  • Weather appropriate clothing.

  • Sharpies

  • Pen or Pencil

  • Notepad

  • Water

  • Snacks
