RIFLE SKILL BUILDER ($75)

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Looking to improve your rifle skills and need more hands-on training? This CLEET-accredited, 8-hour class is designed to reinforce rifle fundamentals, positional shooting, and effective recoil control. Open to all skill levels, this class is an ideal refresher and skill-building opportunity for officers focused on refining their performance in the field.

Note: If you're new to rifle shooting and interested in a multi-day course, we recommend the program available through Oklahoma County’s Training Division.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • Rifle with sling

  • Duty pistol

  • Three spare rifle magazines

  • Holster and method to carry at least one extra magazine

  • 350 rounds of rifle ammo and 25 rounds of pistol ammo

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Clothing that will allow kneeling and movement

ADVANCED RIFLE OPERATOR ($90)

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Ready to elevate your patrol rifle skills? This 8-hour, CLEET-accredited, 8-hour class zeros in on advanced rifle shooting techniques. You’ll work on quickly getting into shooting positions and making precise shots under time pressure, including urgent follow-up shots. This class is a great choice for those looking to level up their rifle skills.

  • Three spare rifle magazines

  • Holster and method to carry at least one extra magazine

  • 350 rounds of rifle ammo and 50 rounds of pistol ammo

  • Eye and ear protection

CLEET- certified Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) training for patrol officers at Green's Defensive Solutions in Oklahoma

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This 8-hour, CLEET-accredited class focuses on the deployment of a Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) by Oklahoma patrol officers. Students will gain essential knowledge about the design, operation and advantages of a LPVO as an effective optic for patrol use.  Students can expect to hone their marksmanship fundamentals behind a rifle while exploring the benefits of deploying a LPVO on duty.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • Patrol Rifle - Minimum of .223REM caliber. 

  • 4 Rifle Magazines.

  • 500 rounds of rifle ammunition (NO RELOADS).

  • LPVO capable of 1x Power to a minimum of 4x Power. 

  • Offset RDS (Red Dot) is acceptable for the students 1x Power option.

  • Patrol Vest or Plate Carrier or Chest Rig (Equipment that you normally carry on duty.)

  • Sidearm with holster.

  • 3 Sidearm magazines.

  • 100 rounds of small caliber round for sidearm.

  • Duty Belt or Gun Belt.

  • Eye protection.

  • Ear protection.

  • Hat.

  • Weather appropriate clothing.

  • Sharpies

  • Pen or Pencil

  • Notepad

  • Water

  • Snacks
